The Americana Public Library of Budapest is looking for photographs...please read the following email
The project aims to present a portrait of the Hungarian Revolution of 1848 (March Fifteenth) celebrations in the United States of America.
Participation is completely free. Participants may submit a documentary photograph(s) and / or a fine art photograph(s).
Participants’ photographs will be included in our digital collections. Shortlisted photographs will be featured in a nationwide (in Hungary, in 2024) community exhibition.
Documentary Photograph
A documentary photograph(s) of a sculpture that salutes the Hungarian Revolution of 1848 (March Fifteenth) in the United States of America.
Fine Art Photograph
A fine art photograph(s) that salutes the Hungarian Revolution of 1848 (March Fifteenth) in the United States of America. For example, a formal portrait photograph of a subject wearing a kokárda, or a photograph of March Fifteenth celebrations in the United States of America.
Submit your photograph(s) or a link to your photograph(s) via e-mail (aplbp0101@gmail.com).
Your e-mail will only be processed if you include "Community Photography Project" in the subject line of the e-mail. The deadline is Monday March 20th, 2023.
